Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of metro rail electrical systems in the Philippines. The role focuses on electrical design across tunnels, stations, depots, and associated assets, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with railway codes.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, mechanical, signaling and rail systems is essential. On-site work in Metro Manila, with opportunities to contribute to major infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–8 years of relevant electrical design experience for rail or infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one asset type listed in the job duties.
• Familiarity with safety requirements and standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design deliverables for metro rail projects.
• Develop LV power distribution, lighting, earthing, and emergency systems.
• Review calculations, reports, specs, drawings, and load schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and signaling teams.
• Support tender documentation and construction phase input.
• Identify design risks and opportunities for value engineering.
