• Machines metal components on conventional (non-CNC) machine tools, including a bed-type milling machine, a conventional lathe (up to 800 mm diameter) and a horizontal boring machine
• Reads and interprets technical drawings
• Programs the machine, selects cutting tools and determines machining procedures independently
• Holds rigging and crane-operator qualifications for overhead bridge cranes
