CAMOX PHILIPPINES, INC. - OVERSEAS is seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The role focuses on SMAW welding to drawings and specifications, with emphasis on quality, safety, and productivity.

You will read simple fabrication drawings, prepare metal surfaces, select electrodes and currents, and weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. You will also operate welding machines and maintain tools and PPE according to procedures.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction/steel fabrication.
• Able to read simple fabrication drawings and take measurements.
• Willing to undergo trade test and Russian language course.

Job Description

• Perform welding using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) according to specifications and drawings. and read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting materials before welding.
• Select the appropriate electrodes, welding current, and welding techniques based on the material and required weld.
• Perform welding in different positions, such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. Inspect welds for cracks, holes, porosity, undercut, and other defects.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other equipment. can follow workplace safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of welding equipment.

Qualification

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction, structural steel, steel fabrication, or general fabrication
• Can read simple fabrication drawings and has measurement skills,
• Willing to undergo a trade test and Russian language course
