Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a remote Digital Marketing Specialist to manage Meta ad campaigns for ecommerce clients and lead retention email efforts across Shopify stores. You will create creative briefs, optimize campaigns for traffic and conversions, and coordinate with design for compelling ad visuals.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Meta ads experience, strong email marketing skills with Klaviyo, and the ability to work UK business hours GMT while coordinating with international clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and managing Meta ad campaigns for e-commerce or DTC brands.
• Proven experience in email marketing, retention strategy, and Shopify store management.
• Solid understanding of direct response marketing principles (hooks, angles, avatars).
• Familiarity with Klaviyo (or similar email platforms) and basic Shopify store administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Meta ad campaigns across multiple e-commerce client accounts.
• Develop creative briefs featuring hooks, angles, and avatar-based messaging for direct response ads.
• Monitor and optimize campaign performance to drive traffic and conversions for DTC brands.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure ad creatives align with campaign strategy.
• Maintain organized campaign structures and reporting within Meta Ads Manager.

Retention & Shopify Management

• Plan and manage email marketing calendars aligned with each client's retention strategy.
• Brief email creative and copy, ensuring consistency with each client's brand identity.
• Scope and coordinate updates on client Shopify websites.
• Support the planning and review of core Klaviyo email flows alongside the design team.
• Maintain organized documentation of client retention plans and campaign schedules.

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on experience setting up and managing Meta ad campaigns for e-commerce or DTC brands.
• Proven experience in email marketing, retention strategy, and Shopify store management.
• Solid understanding of direct response marketing principles (hooks, angles, avatars).
• Familiarity with Klaviyo (or similar email platforms) and basic Shopify store administration.
• Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, and project management tools.
• Strong written communication skills, high level of organization, and ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision within UK business hours (GMT).

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience managing paid social and retention across multiple concurrent accounts within an agency setting.
• Hands-on experience building or editing automated Klaviyo flows.
• Experience scoping minor Shopify theme or UX updates and coordinating with web developers.
• Working knowledge of e-commerce attribution models, pixel tracking, and AI tools for creative brief generation.
