Job summary

This senior leadership role carries end-to-end ownership of business planning, buying, assortment strategy, pricing, inventory management, and sales performance.

You will manage budgets, negotiate with brands and suppliers, and collaborate with Retail, Marketing and Visual Merchandising to drive in-store product performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales, gross margin, inventory and purchase budget.
• Lead buying decisions based on customer demand, historical performance and market opportunities.
• Manage pricing, promotions, markdowns and inventory productivity.
• Monitor sales and stock performance and act on slow sellers, stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Build strong relationships with brands, principals and suppliers, including commercial negotiations.
• Work closely with Retail, Marketing and Visual Merchandising to drive product performance in stores.
• Identify new brands, categories and growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop the merchandising team.
