You will develop assortment, pricing, and trade strategies to drive revenue, manage margins, monitor trends, and analyze promotions. Hybrid work setup with a competitive PHP package.

Work Setup: Hybrid

Compensation: 150,000 - 180,000 Package

Compensation Flexibility: Open to negotiation for highly qualified candidates.

The Merchandising Manager develops and executes merchandising strategies that drive revenue, increase inventory turnover, and enhance the overall shoppingexperience. This role sits at the intersection of buying, inventory management, and in-store marketing, requiring collaboration with vendors, store operations, and corporate leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assortment Management
  • Develop and implement assortment & pricing strategies to achieve salesand marginal targets.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for managing SKU performance activities.
• Trade Management
  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to achieve sales andmargin targets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to execute marketing plans, promotions, and/or initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Monitoring sales performance, tracking KPIs, and optimizing promotional activities.
  • Manage trade marketing budget and ensure cost-effective spending.
• Margins Management
  • Develop and implement marginal strategies to achieve sales and marginal targets.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned suppliers about thepartnership, scorecard and SKU performance.
• Monitor Trends - Stay ahead of shifts in consumer behavior (e.g., growingdemand for organic, plant-based, or locally sourced products).
• Competitive Pricing: Establish retail pricing strategies that maintain a competitive edge while protecting profit margins.
• Data Analysis: Review sales data and margin reports to assess thefinancial performance of promotions.

Required Skills

• Experience managing frozen food, foodservice, FMCG, or consumer goods categories
• Strong account management and commercial negotiation skills
• Experience working with modern trade, supermarkets, or e-commerce retailers
• Strong sales analysis, forecasting, and demand planning capabilities
• Ability to develop pricing, promotion, and category growth strategies
• Experience managing distributor, retailer, or marketplace relationships
• Proficiency in Excel and sales performance reporting

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frozen food manufacturers, importers, or distributors
• Background in Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Commercial Operations
• Experience handling accounts such as SM, Robinsons, Puregold, S&R, Landers, Metro Retail, or online grocery platforms
• Knowledge of GrabMart, Foodpanda Shops, LazMart, or other e-commerce channels
• Experience launching new products and driving category expansion
• Familiarity with inventory planning and supply chain coordination
