About the role

As a Merchandising Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail operations in Binondo Manila City Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience across our store network.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise Planning & Strategy:

    • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to align with company goals and market trends.
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
    • Forecast sales and inventory needs to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Determine product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
    • Monitor inventory performance and make adjustments as needed.
    • Work with department heads to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.

  • Store Execution:

    • Ensure products are displayed effectively and attractively in stores.
    • Monitor store inventory and make adjustments as needed.
    • Work with store personnel to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans.

  • Sales Performance:

    • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve revenue goals.
    • Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in merchandising or similar field;
• Familiarity with watches or global brand (fashion & accessories) industry, a plus;
• Experience in SM consignment and other department stores;
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer insights;
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent visual and creative flair, with a keen eye for design and an understanding of current retail trends;
• Skillful in developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies;
• Knowledge of market trends and principles;
• No buying/purchasing required;
• Adept in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline;
• Must be residing in Manila or willing to be assigned at Binondo Manila;
• Can start immediately.
