Job summary

UCC Coffee Philippines, Inc. is seeking a field-based Merchandiser Deployment Coordinator to oversee daily deployment across Visayas and Mindanao. You will verify attendance, audit logs, ensure stock integrity, and manage POS materials and promotions.

The role requires strong communication with store managers, regional distributors, and agency reps, plus travel across VisMin; proficiency in English, Tagalog, and Cebuano is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in merchandising, trade marketing, or retail sales.
• Proficient in English and Tagalog.
• Fluency in Cebuano or local dialect strongly preferred for effective local communication.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with store managers, regional distributors, and agency representatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting.
• Personal laptop or access to a laptop for work-related tasks.
• Cebu based and Davao based to travel extensively across key VisMin cities.
• Strong ability to verify agency service hours and audit inventory logs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deployment and coverage of agency merchandisers across outlets in Visayas or Mindanao.
• Verify attendance and service hours; audit inventory logs.
• Visit outlets to check product availability, shelf placement, display, price tags, and cleanliness.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, and handling to minimize bad orders and check expiry dates.
• Ensure BORF usage and correct sticker application; follow up on bad order returns.
• Coordinate deployment of price tags, posters, and POP materials; ensure promotions run as planned.
• Monitor outlet inventory and over-the-counter sales; flag stock-outs/overstocks.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing at outlets.
• Prepare and submit reports on inventory, stock, trade damages, and competition.

About the role

This role involves coordinating the daily deployment and coverage of agency merchandisers across assigned outlets in Visayas or Mindanao, with responsibility for verifying attendance, auditing inventory logs, and ensuring compliance with company standards across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily deployment and coverage of agency merchandisers across the assigned outlets in Visayas or Mindanao
• Verifies the attendance and service hours of agency merchandisers, and audits their inventory logs
• Visits outlets regularly to check product availability, shelf placement, display, price tags, and cleanliness
• Ensures proper receiving, storage, and handling of products at the outlet to minimize bad orders and checks expiry dates
• Ensures the outlet and agency merchandisers use the Bad Order Return Form (BORF) and stickers correctly, and follows up on bad order returns
• Coordinates the deployment of new price tags, posters, promotional ads, and other point-of-purchase materials, and ensures promotions run as planned
• Monitors outlet inventory and over-the-counter sales, and flags stock-outs or overstocks
• Monitors competitor activities, pricing, and off takes at the outlet
• Prepares and submits reports on inventory levels, stock situation, trade damages, and competitor activity
• Communicates sales orders and outlet concerns to the Company representative and coordinates with store managers, regional distributors, and agency representatives to resolve them

About you

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in merchandising, trade marketing, or retail sales (preferred)
• Proficient in English and Tagalog
