Job summary

Hap Suy Hardware Co., Inc. is seeking a merchandiser to support our retail network across Pangasinan. You will visit supermarkets, groceries, sari-sari stores and convenience outlets on a regular schedule to set up and refresh product displays in line with merchandising standards.

You will monitor stock, ensure correct pricing and POS materials, and build rapport with store staff. The role requires daily travel, physical stamina, and strong reporting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Senior High School graduate; college level an advantage.
• 6 months to 1 year in merchandising, sales, or retail.
• Must reside in Pangasinan or willing to be assigned within the province.
• Willing to travel daily to outlets within Pangasinan.
• Physically fit to stand, walk, lift, and carry merchandise.
• Basic MS Office knowledge for reporting.
• Knowledge of hardware products is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with minimal supervision.
• Honest and responsible for company assets.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail outlets (supermarkets, groceries, sari-sari stores, convenience stores) within Pangasinan on a regular schedule.
• Set up, maintain, and improve product displays according to company merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure products are available on shelves; coordinate replenishment with sales/logistics.
• Ensure correct pricing, tags, and promotional materials (POSM) are properly placed and updated.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with store owners, staff, and managers.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities, and report findings to the supervisor.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on store visits, stock status, and sales performance.
• Assist in the execution of promotional activities, product launches, and in-store events.
• Identify opportunities to improve product placement and suggest merchandising strategies.

About the role

This role involves visiting assigned retail outlets including supermarkets, groceries, sari-sari stores, and convenience stores within Pangasinan on a regular schedule. About you

• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in merchandising, sales, or retail (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Must be a resident of Pangasinan or willing to be assigned within the province
• Willing to travel to different outlets/municipalities within Pangasinan on a daily basis
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, lift, and carry merchandise for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting purposes
• Knowledge of or experience with power tools/hardware products is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; can build rapport with store personnel
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Honest, reliable, and with a strong sense of responsibility for company products and assets
