Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a stock management and inventory coordination professional to oversee stock handling across multiple product categories and stores. You will work with retailers and warehouses to maintain accurate counts and ensure timely replenishment and quality control.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, processing transfer orders, and supporting merchandising plans across channels to optimize inventory levels and stock availability.

• Initiate monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts with retail partners and warehouses.
• Oversee inbounding of stocks ensuring inventory matches packing lists.
• Oversee retailer deliveries and assist in deliveries.
• Monitor and resolve shipment, inventory discrepancy, and product quality issues.
• Prepare transfer orders for stock movements based on warehouse inventory.
• Monitor stock levels in retailer stores and digital platforms.
• Initiate repeat orders, stock replenishment, and markdowns as needed.
• Recommend items for pull-out or clearance sale.
• Coordinate merchandising plans across product categories and stores/retailers.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors for replenishment, inventory counts, and quality control.

About the role

The position shall be in-charged of stock management, product handling, retailer management, and administrative work across multiple product categories and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory count with retail partners and warehouses
• Oversee inbounding of stocks ensuring correct inventory vs. packing list
• Oversee retailer deliveries and assist in deliveries
• Monitor and resolve issues related to shipments, inventory discrepancies, and product quality
• Prepare transfer orders for any approved stock movement vis a vis available warehouse inventory
• Ensure and closely monitor stock level in retailer stores and their corresponding digital platforms
• Initiate repeat orders, stock replenishment, mark downs, movement of stocks
• Recommend items for pull-out, for clearance sale, and the like
• Coordinate the execution of merchandising plans across multiple product categories and stores/retailers
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors to facilitate product replenishment, inventory count and quality control
