An MEPFS Engineer oversees the planning, design coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary systems in construction projects to ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design Review and Coordination
- Review MEPFS drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate MEPFS systems with architectural, structural, and civil works.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts and system clashes.
- Participate in design meetings and coordination with consultants.
2. Project Supervision
- Supervise installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary systems.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance and progress.
3. Quality Control
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality installation.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Review materials, equipment submittals, and shop drawings.
4. Testing and Commissioning
- Oversee testing, balancing, and commissioning of MEPFS systems.
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet design requirements.
- Coordinate with third-party testing teams if required.
5. Cost and Material Management
- Assist in quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEPFS systems.
- Evaluate material specifications and supplier proposals.
- Monitor material usage and project budget compliance.
6. Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and standards.
- Implement site safety procedures related to MEPFS works.
- Coordinate with safety officers during installation.
7. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Maintain records of as-built drawings and system documentation.
- Support project turnover and handover documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
- Professional license
- Experience in building construction, facilities engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of MEPFS design standards and building codes.
