Job summary

SANGUINE GLOBAL STAFF RESOURCES CORP. seeks an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor in the Philippines to support hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, and large-scale construction projects.

You will prepare detailed take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents while reviewing drawings and contracts. You will manage valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts, coordinating with engineers, procurement teams, and project management staff to ensure contract compliance and accurate

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of experience in MEP quantity take-off, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, valuation and final accounts.
• Experience with hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, residential, or large-scale construction projects preferred.
• Familiarity with FIDIC Red/Yellow/Silver Books and international contracts is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs and tender documents for MEP works.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope to identify quantities and costs.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations and subcontractor proposals.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, variations, and overall MEP budget performance.
• Prepare progress claims, payment applications, valuations and final accounts.
• Evaluate and negotiate variations, change orders, claims and additional works.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, MEP engineers, procurement and project management.
• Assist in contract administration and ensure contractual compliance.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and other project documentation.
• Ensure MEP works are measured and valued per drawings and contracts.

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work to identify quantities, costs, and potential discrepancies.

Qualification:

• A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
• Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, residential, or large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in MEP quantity take-off, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, valuation, variation, claims, and final accounts.
• Familiarity with FIDIC Red Book, Yellow Book, and/or Silver Book is an advantage.
• Experience in FIDIC contracts and international construction contracts is highly preferred.
