SHIMIZU-FUJITA-TAKENAKA-EEI JOINT VENTURE is seeking an on-site QA/QC professional to support construction teams and engineers. You will review documents, monitor quality plans, and ensure compliance with project specs and ISO 9001 requirements.
The role involves conducting site quality patrols, witnessing tests, maintaining QA/QC records, issuing NCRs, and coordinating with subcontractors to uphold quality across all activities.
I. PRIMARY PURPOSE
Work closely with the Construction Teams and the Engineer and proactively support all site Quality needs of the project. Plan activities and follow guidance from MEP QA/QC Managers and report back. Assist Line Managers in the monitoring and implementation of the quality management system of the project.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To review Material Approval Requests, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, T&C procedures and related documents, Construction Control Sheets, check sheets, MEP-related documents, instruction manuals, and among others for the specified work/activity to ensure compliance to the quality requirements of the project.
Well versed in ISO 9001: 2015 as well as process quality auditing.
Material inspection and review the quality of all materials at the Construction site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality.
Ensure progressive quality inspections, intermediate up to completion, are implemented for all activities. In the same manner, supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and coordinate with various Subcontractors.
Conduct Weekly Site Quality Patrol.
Conduct and/or witness, where applicable, T&C, Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test and Consolidate SAT report.
Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and routinely updating registers for all QA/QC documents including Factory certificates, calibration certificates, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, materials delivered to site, and other important QA/QC documents.
Monitor an efficient system and record all Construction activities related to quality requirements.
Identify and issue NCRs and recommend issue of "Stop Works Orders".
Conduct reviews, inspections and testing as needed to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
Ensure works are properly supervised in line with approved documents such as MS, ITP’s, Drawings, MAR’s etc.
Monitor trends, conduct analysis, and provide reporting as may be required.
Conduct audits and reviews to evaluate system and works compliance and to ensure works suppliers are providing Quality Products and services.
Review and propose improvements in the implementation of the MS, testing/laboratory arrangements, works arrangements, etc., where required.
Review Material Approval Requests, Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), all related MEP, System Assurance, as well as Testing & Commissioning documents.
Routinely prepare and submit Daily Reports or Activity Reports for all MEP QA/QC related activities at the area of assignment.
Work closely with the Construction teams and GC and proactively support all site Quality needs.
Plan activities and follow guidelines from MEP QA/QC Managers & report back.
Undertake tasks as may be given by the MEP QA/QC Manager or the Assistant Project Manager - QA/QC and generally assist in fulfilling his role and responsibilities in relation to Quality Management.
