Job summary

SHIMIZU-FUJITA-TAKENAKA-EEI JOINT VENTURE is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to support construction teams in meeting project quality requirements.

The role requires analyzing tests, inspections, and drawings to ensure compliance with MS, ITP, MAR, and related documentation.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Architecture required.
• Experience with QA/QC processes on construction sites preferred.
• Ability to review MS, ITP, MAR documents and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support site quality requirements with Construction teams and GC.
• Plan activities and report to QA/QC Managers.
• Identify NCRs and propose stop-work actions when needed.
• Review inspections, tests, drawings, MARs to ensure compliance.
• Maintain test registers and assist PM/OPM with quality tasks.
• Conduct audits, trend analyses and reporting on quality performance.

Job description

I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the Construction teams and GC & proactively support all site Quality needs.
• Plan activities and follow guidance from QA/QC Managers & report back.
• Assist Line Managers in fulfilling their tasks as required.
• Monitor and verify the implementation of suitable corrective action.
• Identify & Issue NCR's.
• Recommend Issue of "Stop Work Orders".
• Conduct reviews, inspections and testing as needed to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
• Ensure works are properly supervised in line with approved documented requirements such as MS's, ITP's, Drawings, MAR's etc.
• Monitor trends, conduct analysis and provide reporting as may be required.
• Independently monitor the works supervision to provide assurance on works compliance.
• Conduct audits & reviews to evaluate system & works compliance.
• Review & propose improvements in testing/laboratory arrangements where required.
• Implement, maintain and assist to oversee the QMS.
• Plan and conduct audits and reviews to ensure works suppliers are providing Quality Products and services.
• Ensure all Test registers are maintained and routinely updated.
• Undertake tasks as may be given by the HOD and generally assist the PM/OPM/Asst. PM in fulfilling his role and responsibilities in relation to Quality Management.
• Performs other duties from time to time as assigned/delegated by the Superiors.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER

• Graduate of B.S. in Civil Engineering or B.S in Architecture.
