NightOwl Consulting Philippines Inc. is seeking a CAD drafter to bridge design intent and constructed drawings. You will translate concepts into precise, compliant documents, maintain title blocks, scale notations, and annotations across drawing sets.

You will ensure compliance with American building standards and local ordinances, collaborate with homeowners and builders, and manage several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between design intent and physical reality. You and others from the team will interact closely.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Proficient in AutoCAD LT and drafting using the imperial system.
• Must seamlessly translate abstract design concepts into precise, legally compliant construction documents.
• Pristine execution of title blocks, scale notations, aligned annotations, and highly consistent dimension strings.
• Strong understanding of American building standards.
• Foundational understanding of local ordinances and state building codes.
• Proactive, forward-thinking mindset.
• Strong English proficiency and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet and exceed fast deadlines with high-quality drawings.
• Translate abstract design concepts into precise, legally compliant construction documents.
• Maintain pristine title blocks, scale notations, aligned annotations, and consistent dimension strings across all drawing sets.
• Incorporate client and team redlines and revisions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure drawings comply with American building standards, local ordinances, and state building codes.
• Proactively identify and flag potential design or documentation issues before they impact timelines.
• Communicate daily with leadership on the progress of assigned projects.
• Handle 6-8 projects at a time.
• Collaborate closely with homeowners, builders, and the design team throughout each project.
