About the role

Activgym FitnessCenter is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership Consultant to join our sales team in Balintawak, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving membership growth and revenue for our fitness centre. As a Membership Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our business, converting prospects into loyal members whilst building lasting relationships with our clients. This role is essential to achieving our strategic objectives and expanding our fitness community.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome prospective members, providing tours of our state-of-the-art fitness facilities and explaining available memberships and programmes

• Present membership packages and personalised fitness solutions tailored to meet individual client needs and fitness goals

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing members to encourage membership renewals and upgrades

• Achieve monthly and quarterly membership sales targets whilst maintaining high-quality customer service standards

• Conduct needs assessments to understand client objectives and recommend appropriate membership tiers and ancillary services

• Process membership applications, collect payments and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete

• Handle inquiries and objections professionally, using effective sales techniques to overcome barriers to conversion

|>Collaborate with fitness staff and management to ensure seamless member onboarding and experience

• Maintain detailed records of member interactions, sales activities and follow-ups in our customer relationship management system

• Participate in promotional events, fitness challenges and community initiatives to drive membership awareness and engagement

What we're looking for

• Proven sales experience in the fitness industry, hospitality, retail or a similar customer-facing environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele

• Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently

• Excellent listening skills and the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions

• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and basic computer literacy

• Physical fitness knowledge or personal interest in health and wellness is highly desirable

• Professional appearance and a positive attitude that reflects the fitness centre's brand values

• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule including potential weekend and evening shifts

• Knowledge of the Metro Manila fitness market and local demographics would be advantageous
