Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks a Customer Service Representative to serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for customers and partners receiving regulated medical waste management and related environmental services. You will address routine inquiries, coordinate service requests with internal teams, maintain accurate records, and help ensure safe, reliable, and compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in customer service or related roles.
• Excellent spoken and written English with a calm, professional tone.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries across systems with timely follow-through.
• Good coordination with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Sound judgment on escalation for safety and compliance.
• Availability to work a schedule aligned with U.S. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
• Create, update, and track service requests and related cases.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Operations, Billing, and field teams.
• Explain services and procedures; avoid giving regulatory or legal advice.
• Escalate safety or compliance concerns per protocol.
• Maintain accurate customer contact details and service notes.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve retention.
• Support customers across hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacies, and facilities.
• Protect confidential customer and patient information.
• Assist with data entry and administrative projects.
