Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current professional licensure as Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist as required by local regulatory authorities
• Experience in a clinical laboratory or research setting
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and biosafety practices
• Proficiency with lab equipment and automated analysers
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate results

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of laboratory tests across haematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology and urinalysis.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment with quality control.
• Collect and process specimens (blood, urine, others) following safety protocols.
• Analyse results and escalate abnormalities to supervisors or medical staff.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, reagents, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs.
• Support clinical and medical research by conducting specialised tests.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to provide timely laboratory information.
• Adhere to biosafety standards and infection prevention measures
