Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform laboratory tests and encode results to support diagnostic processes. The role includes blood extraction and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

The successful candidate will contribute to accurate laboratory reporting and patient care across MediCard’s network of clinics and hospitals in Cebu City, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing medical laboratory tests.
• Accurate encoding and documentation of results.
• Experience with phlebotomy/blood extraction.
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and encode results to support physicians and pathologists.
• Provide accurate and timely encoding of laboratory data.
• Collect blood samples as requested by medical staff.

• Responsible for laboratory tests/procedures and encoding of laboratory resultsProvide technical services such as collecting samples and performing medical laboratory tests in order to provide diagnostic support to physicians and pathologists
• Proper and accurate encoding of laboratory results, performs complex scientific tests and analyzes the results
• Performs blood extraction to patients as part of packages or as per doctor’s request.
• Monitors and ensures that laboratory equipment/machines undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled.
