The Medical City Clinic SM Muntinlupa is seeking a Medical Technologist to join the team and help elevate patient care by carrying out laboratory tests and reporting accurate results.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Medical Technology with a valid PRC license (RMT), and preferably has at least three months of hands-on experience, strong communication, and attention to safety.

Qualifications

• BS Medical Technology with valid PRC license (RMT).
• Preferably at least 3 months experience as Medical Technologist.

Responsabilités

• Explain laboratory procedures to patients and ensure safety.
• Check specimens for condition and appropriateness to the test.
• Ensure accurate test results and comply with DOH regulations.
• Document patient data and census monthly.
• Monitor inventory of related medical supplies.

The Medical City Clinic is searching for a Medical Technologist in SM Muntinlupa to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for carrying out laboratory tests and procedures and prepares necessary results.

This role reports directly to the Clinic Manager of TMC Clinic SM Muntinlupa.

What’s The Role All About?

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Explains laboratory procedures to patients
• Checks specimens or samples as to their condition, acceptability, and appropriateness to the test
• Ensures safety and comfort of patients before and after collecting blood samples
• Examines collected specimens or samples and identify any abnormalities
• Ensures accuracy of test results
• Adheres to regulatory requirements mandated by DOH
• Documents data of patients through charting
• Monitors inventory and ensures availability of related medical supplies
• Submits census report every monthPerforms other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Who Are We Looking For?

An effective Medical Technologist must possess the following skills:

• General Knowledge in Medical Technology
• Interpersonal Skills
• Proficient communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ideally, a candidate must be at least a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, with a valid PRC License (Registered Medical Technologist), preferably with at least three (3) months experience as a Medical Technologist.
