Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology is required
• Valid PRC License to Practice in the Philippines
• Preferably with at least 3 months of experience as Medical Technologist
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical technology principles
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Explain laboratory procedures clearly to patients
• Assess specimens for condition, acceptability, and suitability for testing
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before and after blood collection
• Examine collected specimens and identify abnormalities
• Perform laboratory tests and ensure accuracy and reliability of results
• Adhere strictly to DOH regulations and laboratory standards
• Maintain quality control and safety protocols
• Document patient data accurately through charting
• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of laboratory supplies
• Submit monthly census reports
• Perform other duties as assigned
