Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency including EMR navigation.
• Ability to review, categorize, and route incoming faxes.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and common healthcare documents.
• Identify the appropriate staff member or department for each document.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when attaching documents to patient charts.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming faxes by attaching them to patient charts and routing to staff in a timely manner.
• Locate documents or information requested by staff when needed.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced medical office environment.
