Job summary

Serve Group Pty Ltd is seeking an embedded Medical Device Engineer based in Cebu, covering Central to Eastern Visayas. You will design, implement, and maintain medical equipment in healthcare settings, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable operation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance. You will train staff and provide technical support while traveling regularly to clinics and hospitals in the region.

Qualifications

Based in Cebu, covering Central to Eastern Visayas.
Degree in biomedical or electrical engineering; advanced degrees preferred.
Proven experience in medical device design, development, and maintenance.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices (FDA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining medical equipment and systems in healthcare settings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with medical devices, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of medical equipment.
Provide training to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
Offer technical support to healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Frequent travel to medical offices, clinics, and hospitals.
