Job summary

Variance Trading Corporation is seeking a Biomedical/Engineering professional to provide hands-on technical support for medical equipment across client sites in the Philippines. You will assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, while performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation.

The role requires fieldwork and travel to hospital and client sites, strong knowledge of medical electronics, and the ability to coordinate with facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in medical devices, hospital equipment, or technical service is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, electrical systems, or troubleshooting.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel to hospital/client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for medical equipment and devices.
• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of medical equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and basic repairs as needed.
• Perform equipment inspection and ensure proper operation and functionality.
• Coordinate with healthcare facilities, suppliers, and internal departments regarding technical concerns.
• Assist in product demonstrations, equipment training, and technical presentations when required.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and other technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits to hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
• Assist in evaluating equipment requirements and providing appropriate technical recommendations.
• Perform other technical duties and projects as assigned.
