Job summary

IDS Medical Systems Philippines, Inc. is seeking a field service engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment. The role requires testing and commissioning devices, preventive maintenance, and timely responses to service requests.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electronics/Electrical/Biomedical Engineering, 1–3 years in medical equipment servicing, and willingness to travel locally and internationally when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Engineer preferred (where applicable).
• 1–3 years of experience in medical equipment servicing or related field.
• Experience with Diagnostic Imaging, Critical & Intensive Care, Cardiovascular equipment is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and configure medical devices and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure equipment operates per manufacturer specs and standards.
• Minimize downtime through timely servicing and technical support.
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals on operation and basic maintenance.
• Respond to service requests via calls or site visits promptly.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and end-users to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete warranty, preventive, corrective and breakdown service activities within standards.
• Deliver high-quality technical service to minimize complaints.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment history.
• Prepare and submit complete service reports and document activities.
• Complete required technical certifications and manufacturer training.
• Continuously enhance product knowledge to support multiple product lines.
• Recommend and coordinate replacement of spare parts and consumables.
