Job summary

Trinity Workforce Solutions Inc. seeks a physician to design, develop, and update clinical content by appraising medical literature.

You will gather feedback from peer reviewers and clients to ensure clinical accuracy and usability, while working from home on a graveyard shift (7-10 PM). Responsibilities include QA of clinical content, serving as a clinical resource for internal and external customers, and collaborating with PD, PM, PO and BSA to ensure on‑time delivery of clinical development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Licensed physician and board-certified or diplomate in Internal Medicine or subspecialties.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of independent clinical practice.
• Residency/training time does not count.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update clinical content from medical literature.

Work Setup/Shift Schedule : Work from home; Graveyard shift (7-10 PM start of shift)

Primary Responsibilities

Utilizing the principles of evidence-based medicine (EBM), design, develop, and update clinical content through the appraisal and synthesis of information gathered from the medical literature. Collect and incorporate feedback from external peer reviewers and clients to ensure clinical accuracy and usability.

• Perform Quality Assurance of clinical content and create and maintain clinical documentation, as required.
• Serve as a clinical resource for both internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Product Development (PD), Product Management (PM), Product Owner (PO), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) as needed.
• Participate in developing project plans, monitoring tasks, and ensuring on-time delivery of clinical development projects.
• Participate in field research that contributes to product advancement as needed.
• Positions in this function provide guidance, leadership and serve as a liaison for clinically related solutions which involve technology as a component across the enterprise. These roles support clinically related short term and long term operational, product and/or technical solutions and strategies through guiding development, enhancements to improve end to end clinical process and systems decision making. These consultants partner with product, operations, IT and business functions to design and implement clinical solutions by providing clinically relevant research and analysis of clinical and related data and clinical business processes. Qualifications

Education / Licensure

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Licensed Physician
• Candidates must be board-certified or hold diplomate status in the applicable specialty, specifically Internal Medicine or its recognized medical subspecialties.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in independent clinical practice and inpatient hospital settings is required.
• Time spent in residency or training programs does not qualify, as this represents supervised practice.

Clinical & Business Experience

• At least five (5) years of hands‑on clinical experience in an independent practice setting or equivalent.
• Experience in utilization management, case management, or the managed care industry is strongly preferred.
• Candidates must demonstrate direct patient care experience beyond formal education or clinical training programs.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, well‑supported clinical documentation and communicate effectively with expert physician panels.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to apply logical, evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within cross‑functional teams; detail‑oriented with strong multitasking capabilities.
• Broad clinical exposure across varied practice settings, including Acute Care, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, and Pediatrics.
• Proficiency in standard business software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge or experience in research methodologies and Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) highly desirable.
• Demonstrated writing experience strongly preferred.
• Project management experience desirable.
• Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT) desirable.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles and technology‑enabled workflows desirable.
