Job summary

CF Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Coder to review medical records, notes, and clinical documentation to assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for hospital and outpatient services.

The ideal candidate has CPC or CCS certification (preferred), at least 2 years of coding experience, and proficient EMR/EHR skills. Knowledge of EEG time-based coding and adherence to payer guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical coding experience.
• Experience in hospital and/or outpatient coding.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Experience coding EEG time-based services.
• Certification CPC or CCS preferred.
• Proficient in EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient charts, consultation notes, operative reports, and clinical documentation.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for hospital and outpatient services.
• Code diagnostic procedures and time-based services, including EEGs and other specialty procedures, based on physician documentation.
• Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and adherence to payer and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies by coordinating with providers and clinical staff.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting established turnaround times.
• Stay current with coding updates, payer policies, and industry regulations.
