Ingenious Solutions Inc. in Manila is seeking a Medical Coder Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for aspiring coders, provide hands-on coaching, and build structured learning paths.

The role requires active CPC/CPC-I/COC/CCS/CCS-P certification, 3+ years in ProFee/Outpatient coding, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS. You will mentor, audit, and ensure compliance while staying current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Active CPC, CPC-I, COC, CCS, or CCS-P certification required.
• At least 3 years hands-on ProFee and/or Outpatient Facility coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, coding guidelines, and documentation requirements.
• Experience conducting coding training, developing training materials, and coaching coders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience in coding audits, IP/ DRG or RCM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions and develop structured learning programs.
• Coach medical coders and monitor progress.
• Maintain training materials and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Stay current with ICD/CPT/HCPCS guidelines and documentation requirements.

As a Medical Coder Trainer, you’ll play a key role in developing coding professionals through engaging training sessions, structured learning programs, and hands-on coaching. • Active CPC, CPC-I, COC, CCS, or CCS-P certification (additional certifications are a plus)
• At least 3 years of hands-on Professional Fee (ProFee) and/or Outpatient Facility coding experience
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, coding guidelines, compliance, and documentation requirements
• Experience conducting coding training, developing training materials, and coaching medical coders
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Experience in coding audits, quality reviews, Inpatient (IP), DRG, specialty coding, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is an advantage
