Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Trainer to lead medical billing, denials & appeals training for forensic billers. The role includes developing curricula, updating modules, and conducting training for US health insurance processes, revenue cycle management, and claim edits.

You will collaborate with quality and operations to ensure compliant, efficient performance and HIPAA adherence. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of training experience in medical billing, CPC/CCS/COC is a plus, and willingness

Qualifications

• Previous training work experience of at least a year.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience with AR and Denials management.
• CPB and Coding Certification (CPC, CCS, COC) is an advantage.
• Supervisory experience preferred with leadership skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Develops curriculum, training syllabus, and course modules related to Medical Billing (US Health Insurance, Claims Process, Denials & Appeals, Revenue Cycle Management).
• Develops denials process workflow for common denials (Duplicate, Timely Filing, No Prior-Auth, Medical Necessity, etc.).
• Updates weekly deck (performance and attendance for training meeting).
• Collaborates with billing operations managers, supervisors, and quality to resolve issues impacting customers.
