Job summary

GEA Group is seeking an Associate Mechanical Design to develop innovative mechanical solutions for milking systems. You will design components, validate assemblies, and collaborate across global engineering teams to ensure reliability and efficiency in dairy farming applications.

The role emphasizes 3D CAD modeling (Siemens NX), sheet metal design, and strong collaboration with Quality, Production, and Purchasing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or product development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using Siemens NX is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of components for milking systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development projects.
Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and assemblies for dairy farming applications.
Create 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models and develop sheet metal components.
Prepare technical documentation and provide engineering support to QA and Production.
