Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Support Specialist to handle basic repairs, assist in servicing vehicles and equipment, and support field maintenance across operational sites. You will drive utility vehicles for deployments and site visits, perform basic diagnostics, and help maintain tool inventories.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license for MT/L300 vehicles, and willingness to work in field/sh shop environments with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical graduate or course completion in Automotive, Mechanical Technology, or related trade.
• Hands-on mechanical repair experience is preferred (1–2 years).
• Valid driver's license with ability to drive MT/L300/utility vehicles.
• Willingness to travel to field sites and perform field service calls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine mechanical servicing and engine maintenance for service vehicles and field equipment.
• Safely drive company utility vehicles to conduct field deployments and site visits.
• Perform basic diagnostic checks and minor mechanical troubleshooting during breakdowns.
• Transport tools, spare parts, and team members to project sites following safety protocols.
• Log daily service activities and report mechanical issues promptly.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in routine mechanical servicing, fluid checks, belt replacements, and engine maintenance for service vehicles and field equipment




• Safely drive company utility vehicles or L300 units to conduct field deployments, tool delivery, and site visits




• Perform basic diagnostic checks, tire changes, and minor mechanical troubleshooting during equipment or vehicle breakdowns




• Transport technical tools, spare parts, and team members safely to project sites following safety protocols




• Help maintain inventory of repair tools, report mechanical issues promptly, and log daily service activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Vocational/Technical graduate or course completion in Automotive, Mechanical Technology, or related trade




• Experience: At least 1–2 years of hands-on mechanical repair, shop maintenance, or mechanical assistant experience




• Driving: Must possess a valid Driver's License with capability to drive Manual Transmission (MT / L300 / Utility Vehicles)




• Skills: Strong practical understanding of mechanical systems, basic troubleshooting, and road safety




• Work Setup: Physically fit, willing to handle field service calls, render overtime, and respond to emergency repair requests
