Job summary

FILOIL GAS and ENERGY COMPANY, INC. is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic in the Manila area to perform preventive maintenance and service activities on engineering vehicles and heavy equipment.

You will inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles, pumps, generators, and other machinery, while adhering to safety procedures and company rules. The role requires hands-on work, the ability to operate service vehicles, and willingness to be deployed to multiple locations across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Willing to perform housekeeping and general maintenance duties.
• Physically fit for hands-on maintenance work.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Willing to be assigned to different locations within the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities as directed by the Engineering Supervisor and Manila Terminal Maintenance Engineer.
• Conduct installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of engineering service vehicles, fire pumps, generators, gate valves, compressors, gas cutters, and other assigned equipment.
• Operate and drive engineering service vehicles in support of projects, in-house maintenance activities, and other engineering works.
• Safely handle, move, and position heavy materials using appropriate handling equipment.
• Maintain depot tools, equipment, and related gear and ensure safe return.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely and in accordance with work procedures.
• Comply with company and terminal rules, safety requirements, and work protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities as directed by the Engineering Supervisor and Manila Terminal Maintenance Engineer.

• Conduct installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of engineering service vehicles, fire pumps, generators, gate valves, compressors, gas cutters, and other assigned equipment.

• Operate and drive engineering service vehicles in support of projects, in-house maintenance activities, and other engineering works.

• Safely handle, move, and position raw steel beams, plates, pipes, and other heavy materials using appropriate handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.

• Perform maintenance-related duties during non-welding activities, including general labor, housekeeping, material handling, and scheduled depot maintenance.

• Conduct routine inspections and monitor the condition of engineering service vehicles and equipment.

• Promptly report and address vehicle or equipment defects and maintenance requirements.

• Maintain proper accountability, tracking, use, and safe return of depot tools, equipment, and related gear.

• Ensure all assigned activities are performed safely and in accordance with established work procedures.

• Maintain the depot premises and assigned work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

• Comply with company and terminal rules, HSES requirements, safety procedures, and applicable work protocols.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
