Job summary

MIESCOR (Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation) is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee planning, organization, execution and control of his unit under the Construction Manager. He will design for operability, reliability, safety and maintainability while ensuring timely logistics and optimal use of equipment and manpower.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a licensed PE, and at least two years of supervisory experience in substations/transmission line

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (required).
• At least two years of experience as Mechanical Supervisor/Engineer in substations/transmission line construction.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites; head office based.
• Probationary to Regular position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct operations of his unit.
• Provide/recommend best value design meeting operability, reliability, maintainability and safety.
• Monitor and expedite delivery of needed logistics (material, manpower, equipment).
• Prioritize and allocate equipment, tools and manpower within the unit.

Mechanical Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• At least two (2) years work experience as Mechanical Supervisor/Engineer in substation/transmission line construction projects
• Good strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Head Office based but must be willing to be assigned in project sites
• Probationary - Regular position.
