Structural Supervisor – Transmission Lines & Substations
Job Summary
The Structural Supervisor oversees all structural construction activities for transmission line and substation projects. The role ensures that foundations, steel structures, and related works are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise foundation, concrete, and steel structure works on site.
- Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Inspect reinforcement, formwork, anchor bolts, and steel erection activities.
- Coordinate daily activities with engineers, subcontractors, and crews.
- Monitor work progress, quality, and manpower productivity.
- Enforce site HSE rules and conduct toolbox talks.
- Prepare daily progress and inspection reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in transmission line or substation structural works.
- Experience in foundations, concrete works, and steel structure erection.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods and safety practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
