Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a maintenance technician to support critical rolling mills and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and execute repairs to ensure continuous production and safety.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, strict adherence to safety standards, and coordination with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Ability to respond quickly to mechanical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Adherence to safety procedures in high-risk zones and with heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high mechanical availability of Hot Rolling Mill, Cold rolling Mill, finishing line, soaking pits, scalper and stiffleg crane.
• Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Log maintenance activities accurately and report to shift engineers.
• Coordinate with production and electrical teams for quick turnaround.
• Support during shutdowns and major mechanical projects.
