Job summary

Next Century Building Systems Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.

You will read technical drawings, assist installation, and coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering background, is licensed (LME), and is prepared for hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field.
• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in maintenance or manufacturing is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and perform hands-on maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Conduct inspections and basic diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and document maintenance activities and findings.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment schematics.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams in troubleshooting equipment concerns.
• Recommend process improvements and maintenance initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electro-Mechanical Technology
