Job summary

Holcim Philippines, Inc. is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to lead maintenance planning and execution in a manufacturing environment.

You will develop schedules, prepare detailed job plans, and ensure safe, compliant operations while coordinating with reliability and PM teams. The role requires a PRC-registered Mechanical Engineer with at least five years in maintenance, including supervisory experience, and strong SAP PM proficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree with PRC license is required.
• Minimum five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant, including two years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on SAP Plant Maintenance experience (Notifications, Work Orders, Task Lists, Materials/Reservations, Orders execution status).
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and Job Safety Analysis safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical maintenance plans and programs using MAC-SAP for assigned areas, including major equipment outage schedules and planning analysis.
• Provide the maintenance group with detailed job plans, specs, machinery history, parts/tools lists and safety procedures.
• Support the Reliability Engineer in identifying and analyzing repetitive problems and coordinating corrective actions.
• Assist the Preventive Maintenance Manager with annual budget preparation, monitoring and cost control.

About the role

Improve the efficiency and productivity of the maintenance workforce, 3rd party service companies and contractors. Provide all the necessary information to ensure that all work is completed in a safe, efficient and timely manner and in compliance with environmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical maintenance plans and programs utilizing the MAC-SAP system on assigned/focus areas that includes major equipment outage schedules and analysis of job requirements and the required level of planning
• Provide the mechanical maintenance group with detailed job plans, including technical specifications, machinery history, parts and tools lists, and safety procedures in a very organized fashion
• Support the Reliability Engineer in the identification, analysis and reviews of repetitive problems with those responsible for corrections
• Assist the Preventive Maintenance Manager with the preparation of the annual budget, monitoring and cost control

About you

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering graduate
• At least five (5) years experience in maintenance field works in a manufacturing plant, two (2) years of which in supervisory capacity
• Registered PRC license Mechanical Engineer
• SAP PM Expertise: Proven hands-on proficiency with SAP Plant Maintenance module (Notifications, Work Orders, Task Lists, Materials/Reservations, Orders execution status)
• Strong foundational understanding of plant mechanical equipment (pumps, gearboxes, valves, piping, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, belt conveyors, and chain transport systems)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and exploded diagrams
• Sound understanding of industrial safety practices (Lockout/Tagout, Work Permits, Job Safety Analysis)
