Job summary

AlpSoft Technologies Pte Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on lab engineer to support testing, evaluation and prototype fabrication. The role involves designing tests, setting up instrumentation, and performing tests with adherence to safety guidelines.

You will maintain lab equipment and consumables, contribute to data analysis, and document test results. The position emphasizes 6S housekeeping, product defect investigations, and proactive troubleshooting to ensure reliable prototype

Responsibilities

• Assist in principle investigation, technical feasibility and prototype evaluation – taking ownership to deliver on assignment
• Support demonstration of new ideas / principles
• Designing of tests to obtain required data (e.g., pressure, temperature etc.)
• Setting up of test / instrumentation / equipment, as well as performing/monitoring of the test, according to safe working practice, guideline & work instructions
• For chemical lab work: chemical / lacquer preparation, substrate treatment, coating (print, spray), characterization, chemical handling according to work instructions
• Provide preliminary data analysis based on the test objectives and results
• Create test reports and appropriate documentation as required
• Ensure safe and tidy work conditions (practice 6S housekeeping)
• Maintain test equipment, jigs/fixtures etc... in calibrated/good working condition.
• Management/Replenishment of Lab consumables
• Building & fabrication of Prototypes for Proof-of-concept
• Product defect investigation and troubleshooting
