Jacobi Carbons Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least five years of experience to design, oversee construction, and maintain plant infrastructure, including buildings, foundations, roads, and drainage systems, and to coordinate with teams and contractors.
The role requires strong knowledge of construction practices and safety standards, plus proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design, and MS Project, with the ability to lead project teams, obtain permits, and manage stakeholder
Designing, overseeing construction, and maintaining the physical structures and infrastructure of the plant, such as buildings, foundations, roads, and drainage systems. Include installation of equipment, fire fighting system, etc.
Participate in the bidding , evaluate bids and submit results.
Prepare and submit Project Proposal and CAPEX Proposal as applicable.
Prepare PRs for labor, materials, services, etc. as requirement for the implementation of the project.
Conduct weekly meeting with project team/contractors and submit project progress.
Coordinate with purchasing, stores and finance for the smooth flow of project implementation including processing of contractors billings.
Prepare documents for submission to OBO, PEZA, DOLE and other regulating bodies including the renewal of permits.
Experience mechanical engineering within an industrial plant or medium scale project environment is essential and with a minimum of 5 years .
Proven experience managing projects, at least medium scale.
Strong knowledge in construction practices, safety standards relevant codes.
Expertise in software such as AUTOCAD, 3D and MS Project.
Has the ability to lead teams , communicate effectively with stakeholders, and manage relationships.
With experience in the processing of Building Permits, Occupancy Permits and other permits related to Permit To Operate.
Have undergone COSH training is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with valid PRC license.
At least five (5) years extensive experience as a Production or Process Engineer in a Manufacturing Industry.
