Job summary

AcBel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering team in Calamba City, Laguna.

The role focuses on reliable operation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical utility systems within the manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, review layout proposals, and coordinate with technicians and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and energy-efficient operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME) is preferred.
1–2 years of experience in facilities engineering, mechanical utilities, or manufacturing is preferred.
Experience with HVAC, chillers, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, chillers, fire protection).
Develop and monitor preventive/corrective maintenance programs.
Review mechanical layouts for renovations or new installations.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on equipment failures.
Coordinate with technicians and contractors for maintenance activities.
Support installation and improvement projects for mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with operational requirements and audits.
Prepare maintenance records and technical documentation.
