Job summary

Golden Jade Foods Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve equipment in the dressing plant, ensuring safe and efficient production operations. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and hydraulics/pneumatics.

The incumbent will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure GMP, HACCP, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Licensed/Registered Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing, food processing, poultry dressing, or plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, boilers, and processing equipment.
• Support installation, testing, and improvement of new equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and LOTO requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to mechanics and maintenance personnel.
• Monitor spare parts and maintenance requirements.
