Job summary

Eunice Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to establish and lead the Fire Protection Section within the Engineering Department.

The role involves operating, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems and equipment to ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred.
• Experience, training and certification in fire protection systems, fire safety, or fire control and protection.
• Knowledgeable in operation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection equipment and systems.
• Familiar with fire pumps, jockey pumps, FDAS, fire extinguishers, sprinklers, and other firefighting equipment.
• Knowledge of applicable Philippine fire safety regulations and standards.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and support the development of the Fire Protection Section under the Engineering Department.
• Operate, inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems, equipment, and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor and familiarization with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the 20 HP electric-driven fire pump and 2 HP jockey pump.
• Inspect and troubleshoot the Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS), including its major components and controls.
• Ensure the proper condition, accessibility, and maintenance of fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and maintain records of inspections, testing, repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations and recommend improvements to existing fire protection systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or Management.
