Stage Riggers Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems using CAD tools, perform stress analyses, and ensure safety compliance.
You will work with project managers, technicians, and supervisors to translate requirements into practical solutions. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and excellent English communication.
Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software and industry best practices
Conduct detailed engineering calculations and stress analysis to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technicians, and site supervisors to translate requirements into practical solutions
Review and analyze technical specifications, blueprints, and project requirements to develop comprehensive engineering solutions
Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry codes
Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and reports for internal use and client deliverables
Support the procurement process by specifying materials, components, and equipment based on engineering requirements
Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify solutions and improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with exposure to design and analysis work
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
Sound understanding of relevant safety standards and building codes (e.g., AS/NZS, ISO standards)
Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
Licensed Engineer or equivalent certification is preferred
Experience in the staging, rigging, events, or entertainment industry is advantageous
Willing to work overtime with pay.
Willing to be assigned at CCP Pasay.
