Job summary

Primary Group of Builders in Cebu is seeking a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the ERM department technicians and oversee daily operations. You will manage vehicle and equipment deployment, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and supervise repairs with a focus on MTTR and uptime.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, preferably an RME, 1–5+ years in motorpool or fleet management, and proficiency with MS Office and fleet software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Preferably a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME).
• 1–5+ years of hands-on or supervisory experience in motorpool operations, logistics, or fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Fleet & Equipment Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, deployment, scheduling, and availability of vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery.
• Maintenance & Preventive Care: Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) to keep assets in peak running condition.
• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Inspect mechanical breakdowns, diagnose faults, and supervise mechanics or service teams during overhauls and repairs.
• Cost & Procurement Control: Monitor fuel efficiency, track trip logs/odometer readings, and manage procurement of spare parts and service transactions.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and local transportation regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare status reports on vehicle health, downtime, equipment acquisition, or disposal recommendations.

About the role

Directly supervise the ERM Department technicians and daily operations. Strictly accountable for maintenance cost containment, maintenance plan compliance, Mean-Time-to-Repair (MTTR), and % Equipment Uptime. Oversee preventive maintenance, overhauls, and fast emergency repairs

Job Qualifications

• Licensure: Preferably a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME).

• Experience: 1 to 5+ years of hands-on or supervisory experience in motorpool operations, logistics, or fleet management (frequently in construction, transport, or heavy industries).

• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of commercial and heavy vehicles, supervisory capabilities, computer literacy (MS Office / fleet software), and problem-solving skills.

• Work Location & Assignment: Must be willing to be assigned in Cebu, preferably residing in Cebu City, Minglanilla, or nearby areas.
