This is a full-time Motorpool Supervisor role at Olongapo Maintenance Services, Inc., based in NAIA Motorpool, Metro Manila. As Motorpool Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the company's vehicle and heavy equipment fleet that is utilized in NAIA runways, ensuring all vehicles and heavy equipment are well-maintained and ready for use. This essential role supports the operational needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the motorpool team, delegating tasks and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Supervise and evaluating the driver/operator’s performance in operating and maintaining the vehicle or heavy equipment assigned to them
- Assign and schedule vehicle or heavy equipment to driver or operator based on requests, priority, and availability
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and drivers/operators follow safety procedures and standard operating procedures
- Oversee vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance and repair schedules, coordinating with external service providers as needed
- Serve as a point of contact between drivers/operator’s, mechanics and management
- Oversee the purchase of parts, supplies and equipment, and ensure that stocking levels for spares are maintained
- Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs and other fleet-related expenditures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and enforce motorpool policies and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle and heavy equipment usage, service history and other key motorpool data
Qualifications
- Graduate of B.S Mechanical Engineer
- Registered Mechanical Engineer
- Extensive experience (3+ years) in a motorpool or fleet management role, preferably within the transport or logistics industry
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, including familiarity with a wide range of commercial vehicle and heavy equipment types
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and fleet management best practices
- Valid driver's license and familiarity with local driving regulations
- Preferably with passport
