Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a mechanical site engineer to review plans, supervise installation of mechanical systems, and coordinate across civil, electrical, and architectural trades on site in Metro Manila. The role ensures works follow drawings, specs, and safety standards while maintaining quality and schedule.

The candidate will inspect materials and workmanship, prepare submittals and method statements, and support cost monitoring and procurement as required by the project management

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise and monitor the installation of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, and other construction activities.
• Ensure that mechanical works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documents.
• Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed within the required schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project management teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site-related mechanical problems.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and inspection of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other required project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in quantity take-off, material estimation, procurement, and cost monitoring when required.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical recommendations regarding mechanical works.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
