Job summary

ARKY Construct is seeking a skilled automotive technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to keep them safe, reliable, and available for daily operations. Responsibilities include regular inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, oil changes, brake checks, and timely repairs.

Site locations include Masbate and Manila; applicants should have Automotive Technology or Mechanical Technology

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related course; TESDA training acceptable.
• With at least 2 years of experience as a mechanic; construction/heavy equipment experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical problems.
• Physically fit and willing to work in project sites when required.
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• With valid driver's license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other equipment problems.
• Perform oil changes, lubrication, brake checks, tune-ups, and other routine maintenance.
• Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Check equipment condition before and after use.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, parts used, and equipment condition.
• Coordinate with the Motorpool/Logistics Supervisor regarding repair and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Report major defects, safety concerns, and repair requirements immediately.

• Check equipment condition before and after use.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, parts used, and equipment condition.
• Coordinate with the Motorpool/Logistics Supervisor regarding repair and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Report major defects, safety concerns, and repair requirements immediately.
• Assist in maintaining an updated inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and proper maintenance practices.
• Perform other related duties assigned by Management.
