Job summary

Autokid Mobility Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking a Lead Mechanic to oversee daily workshop operations and ensure quality repair and maintenance of vehicles. You will supervise a team of mechanics and uphold safety and service standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of mechanic experience in automotive or truck maintenance, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role. TESDA National Certificate in Automotive Servicing is highly preferred, and EV training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a mechanic in automotive or truck maintenance.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead mechanic role.
• TESDA National Certificate I–IV in Automotive Servicing (highly preferred).
• EV Training Certificate preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Mechanic is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring quality repair and maintenance of vehicles, and supervising a team of mechanics. This role ensures efficiency, safety, and high service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in automotive or truck maintenance
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead mechanic role
• TESDA National Certificate I, II, III, or IV in Automotive Servicing (highly preferred)
• Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Certificate holder (highly preferred)

KNOWLEDGE

• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair techniques, and preventive maintenance procedures
• Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and workshop operations

SKILLS

• Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and quality orientation
• Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on mechanical work
