Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group in the Philippines seeks a Senior Master Data Management Lead to oversee a data governance team, ensuring accuracy and quality of master data. You will drive governance initiatives, lead data integration projects, and enforce policies for data management.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with SAP and Excel, plus the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in Master Data Management or related fields.
• Experience in Shared Services or BPO environment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to cope with ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team maintaining data accuracy, consistency and quality.
• Coordinate data governance initiatives and data integration projects.
• Ensure compliance with data management policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide data management practices.
• Act as primary contact for data governance inquiries and requests.
• Define, document and enforce data management policies.
• Oversee data quality control processes and improvements.
• Monitor data entry and updates for accuracy.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive changes.
• Train staff on master data management tools and processes.
• Build stakeholder relationships to support data governance.
• Foster a culture of data as a corporate asset.
• Participate in data governance committees and strategy discussions.
• Review data input processes for quality and timeliness.
