Job description

The Materials and Warehousing Manager ensures that sufficient supplies of all Materials/Finished Goods, ingredients, and process aids are available at the correct location to meet the requirements of the Production Plan and stock-holding policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead, manage, and oversee people and warehouse operations, particularly processes and systems, to ensure that goods are received and dispatched appropriately and that productivity targets are met.
• Plan and oversee the daily operations of the department.
• Create and maintain operational budgets.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a range of goods as a vital part of the supply chain process.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repairs, and preparing requisitions for replacements.
• Perform warehousing operations and documentation using the SAP system.
• Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in any Business Management-related course.
• Managerial experience in a warehousing environment is highly desirable.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge and experience in using the SAP system.
• Efficient time-management skills and good interpersonal skills.
